I write applications using Animate/Air/As3. I'm having trouble using As3 to access a USB thumb drive that's plugged into an Android tablet. I'm not sure what the native path to the files on the thumb drive might be, and the get volume calls don't appear to work. I can get the root directories, but that doesn't tell me where the USB files would be either. What I would need is a simple apk that can read a file from the USB drive. I can then take the source and incorporate it into my code.

Hi guys, iMingle is an app on Facebook for virtual parties. It is based on Flash/AS3 and HTML/JS. You can check it at: Few months ago, google deprecated their youtube AS3 API, so the flash-based embedded youtube screen in our app stopped working. We want to do some minimal work in order to fix this problem, and maybe later fix more things in the app after a long time that we didn't touch it. Our idea is to use an HTML-based youtube player on top of the flash app. The flash app will activate it by doing calls through JS. A microphone is uploading it's data (which is compressed by Adobe) through a standard Adobe Netstream.
