I am looking to hire a JavaScript developer on a retainer, to address any urgent website issues that may occur. The website is built on Shopify, with PageFly overlay, but contains custom JavaScript that needs to be understood and maintained. The code is critical for optimal performance of the UX on the product pages. The code has been stable for several months, but has been unstable in the past, so needs a developer on-hand. The code author will do a handover. This will be a retainer agreement, whereby if nothing breaks, no work is required, but you still get paid :-) But if there is an issue, the developer will need to be available to jump on it at any time, 24hrs a day.
