I have a mostly done simulation of box2d made in c++ in vs2015. The project utilizes box2d as physics engine and opengl for graphics. The functionalities that are required to be implemented are Cloth tearing, ability to change the amount of hanging points, ability to change the size of the cloth, release the cloth on the ground ( with collision with the ground) and wind implementation that would affect the cloth.

The center of the coordinate is (0, 0, 0) and the Z-Axis is (0, 0, 1). We should send these values to the OpenGL. I expect the program to do the following process: 1-send the data center vertex (0,0,0) to the vertex shader. 2-use the geometry shader to generate the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis direction vector. 3-generate the axis impostor on the geometry shader. 4-pass the impostor to the fragment shader and start the ray tracing. Hi, I have an example of rendering a number of spheres using raytracing (Qt nad QOpenGL). I want to edit the code to render the spheres as a Metaball (connected ball) with smooth surfaces. See the images: The first image represents the spheres. They seem connected but in fact, their surface is disconnected surface. The second images (step 2 and 3) shows a metaball. What exactly I want is that making all the balls appear connected like step 2 in the second image. Here you can find an example of the metaball.
