We want a circuit board, probably based on a PIC microprocessor to readout a Hamamatsu photodiode array.
The spec sheet of the detector...

(The photodiode array acts like a 256 x 1 pixel image sensor so the circuit is actually like a frame-grabber).
We want to transfer the data to a computer using a Natiional Instruments DAQ card, e.g. NI-USB-6008.

We'll use the I/O lines of the DAQ (potentially in parallel) to trasnfer the data from the PIC to the PC.
We want to achieve at least 10 frames per second.
Have recently designed similar product using Sony ILX751 CCD. Will provide pcb layout files in Orcad and Gerber format. Schematics in Orcad and PDF format. Software in C and/or assembler. Would consider using a PIC18F device (5V compatable). Can you provide sample G9494-256D and NI-USB-2008 ?
Would you consider using an FTDI USB to RS232 device instead of the NI-USB-2008 ? This would allow fast serial data transfer, provide a 5V supply to the board and allow you to send serial commands to control integration time and frame rate.
Best regards
Chris
