Rearrange Data in Excel Spreadsheet

Build a Macro or some other deliverable that converts the data in the Excel sheet into a new sheet that contains hours billed for each month into a grid format. The starting month will change for each client, so we need standardized into a chronological format (e.g., rather than 11/1/2019, the first month would just be “1” and the second month “2”): Category # Month 1 Mo#2 #3 #4 #5…. John Doe 1 4[hours] 15 0 0 56 Sally Smith 1 0[hours] 1 20 10 5 The “Category #” column should reflect the categories in the file. Note the first Category includes all clients until row 348, when the Category switches to “Category: 5 Foreclosure.” Then the Category changes again at row 625 to RESPA, and so on. If the month does not contain an “hours”, then “0” should be entered into the column for that month. Some months will contain multiple entries in the spreadsheet we provide. However, only one entry per month (the one containing the hours) should be used. The idea here is for the data to be in a format that allows us to plot this in a graph format to get an idea of how many hours billed per client per month as a matter progresses. We will want to run this data on a regular basis, so we need this as a macro or other software that we can keep and use. We also want the same thing in a new sheet for the “Payment Amount” month-by-month (months with no payment should be “0” for that month with no duplicate months), and also the “Balance Due.” The “Balance Due” sheet should only contain the last entry for the month indicated for the client, so only one entry per month is reflected. *The spreadsheet attached does not contain actual client information.
