Hello, I'm Justin and I'm finishing a deck project. The last piece are awnings that go in our bays on the pergola. I need them sewn to the right width and length with sleeves for the rods that will hold them up. There's an image below with the specs. I have all the materials outside of a sewing machine (ruler, basting tape, thread, fabric) 3 of the panels are the same and 1 is slightly smaller. All are 220" total cut fabric length. There will be a 1" hem around the entire perimeter of each awning. every 30" there is a fold line that will be the measuring point for making the sleeve (for the rod).

We have a very plain dental office. There is nothing on the outside that even begins to communicate what we are all about on the inside. (This building is a metaphor for me, I just realized!) Anyway, I digress. Do we add awnings? Flat ones, rounded ones? More vertical shrubbery? Do we put letters and our business logo on the front of the building? What do we do? The masonry appears to not be paintable, nor do we want to be maintaining something like that! We just need to add a tasteful splash of color and personality to the outside of our building. The shape of the space these are being installed in makes it challenging to mount the actuators and brackets without creating head height issues and encroaching to far into the cafe area.
